5 Weeks Prior To Event:

Once your performance date has been approved, you will be given logos from the concert location and Turning Leaf Entertainment. You will be responsible for creating posters to advertise your concert. The given logos need to be included in these posters. A rough draft version will need to be approved to check for professionalism and to verify that OLCC rules are not being violated. These posters need to be 11”x17”, and the cost is your responsibility. It is important that these posters be done in a tasteful manner and LEGALLY. Please do not use copyrighted materials unless you own the copyright. Also, please do not use the logos for anything other than the aforementioned posters.

4 Weeks Prior To Event:

All editing of the rough draft poster must be completed by this time. No less than 6 posters and 150 handbills must be given. These handbills are usually quarter-page or half-page size, and may include some or all of the information on the approved posters.

2 Weeks Prior To Event:

A rehearsal and sound check is required before you may perform. You will also need good quality show mixes if you are not bringing a live band. Please contact Jeremy at least 2 weeks prior to your performance to schedule an appointment and give him your mixes. You may reach him at:

What do I do now?

Consistent advertising is the best way to attract attention. Don’t forget to spread the word during these next few weeks.  Since you will be keeping part of the door charge, the more people you get through the door, the more money you make. So don’t forget to advertise!
